I learned to knit three times. When I was young, with my mother and Gagie (her mother). When I was in Newfoundland working on my master’s degree (I made sweaters). And a few years ago, in Fredericksburg, VA. I hadn’t forgotten how to knit, but had to remind myself how to cast on efficiently, how to increase, things like that.
This is the most fun and complicated thing I have knitted. It is in cotton color-changing yarn with a thread of silk running through it, from Wolles Yarn Creations, following a pattern called Reverse Psychology. It has tiny clear beads with a silver inside threaded on both sides! It was great fun to knit.
